Long Exposure Photos

This photo is one of a highly interesting collection from Maciej ZapiĆ³r taken in the camera obscura style using an aluminium can. Each photo was left exposed for a period of 1 - 6 months. Each of those bright lines represents the path of the sun as it travelled across the sky on fine days. Blank spaces mean that the day was cloudy.
The top lines present the solar path on the day of the summer solstice while the lowest is from the winter solstice. Fascinating.
